PSG score last-minute goal to beat debutants Girona, Inter and City tie

Sports Desk, 18 sep (EFE).- On Wednesday’s second day of Champions League Matchday 1, Paris Saint-Germain beat Girona 1-0, Manchester City and Inter Milan drew 0-0 and Borussia Dortmund beat Club Brugge 3-0.

Girona kept Paris Saint-Germain at bay for much of its historic Champions League debut but conceded a 90th-minute goal to Portuguese left-back Nuno Mendes, whose seemingly harmless shot slipped through the legs of the Catalan club’s Argentine goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.

Borussia Dortmund beat Brugge 3-0 despite a relatively even match in which the Belgians had the better chances.
